It basically states what everyone is feeling/thinking this season something has to change or we are in for a long season. The only thing we have in our favour is there are teams who are much worse than us(still play better football though) and so we will bimble along in mid-table obscurity and be thankful that we have achieved a safe finish because hey "we haven't got any money to spend you know" and it will continue until someone somewhere makes a beneficial decision for the club that might shake us up....What that decision will be is up for interpretation.

I'm surprised the piece didn't hammer home the obvious conclusion: Cahill has lost it. The system, such as it is. is in disarray because of that.
