Deflected goals

OK, it is 3:39am, but we conceded a deflection against city away. Huths may as well have been. Sunderland.

Who else. Though I am too p!ss3d to recall them all this season, I can't remember another where I feel so aggrieved by spawny deflected goals costing us so harshly, and yet us getting so little luck up front.

Di santo's goalfor Wigan was deflected, although we won 3-1 anyway.

Pretty sur Sheff utd's goal was defleclted, although again we won 3-1.

I just cannot remember a season like it for conceding deflections. Tonights two were a bobble under Distins leg, and then one off Cahills thing/ass cheek.

It's a shame we don't shoot as much as opponents though, because it shouldn't be any different on the other side of things.

It felt like Spurs did a decent job of breaking us down though, trickery and short passing to get the ball in, but really no real end product. Typical Lennon finish putting his shoe about a feet into the ground first and worming its way past 2-3 players. And then of course a-hole ecoutre panics because he has no one to pass and hits Cahill's iron buttocks.

As our game of Fifa quite expertly pointed out last night.

There were several time where Bily was completely unmarked and asking for the ball just outside the box. We know he can hit them from there but he's never given the chance to. Even Drenthe was shying away from hitting it outside the box, is it something they are told not to do or something? It doesn't make any sense.
