We've conceded from two corners - one cut into the lead of a game we won, the other has cost us points.

I calculate it as two drop points.

I think the loss of schnidelin is a big factor as davies just seems to switch off in a zonal system. It a new system though and we will get better as time goes on but unfotunaly these kind of goals will happen untill we get used to it.

My main concern is we conceded the same goal two weeks on the bounce. We need to stop the flick on's and stay alive till the ball is delt with. It took the rs years to get used to zonal marking but now they are reaping the benefits of it and proof it does work in this leauge.

I'll accept that we'll drop point learning this new style of defending from set pieces. Only as long as there is progression happening. Conceding the same goal two games in a row is not progression.

Yeah and incase you've forgotten he's had 3 games with a team who've been rubbish at defending (and attacking) corners for ages now regardless of zonal marking. New ideas take time to implement and in some cases the right personnel. Bar Richarlison he's been starting games with the same team Allardyce had.
