4 of the 5 teams we play in December are now below us in the table. If we can be un-Everton like and take care of business against Stoke, Norwich, Swansea, and Sunderland (then follow up against WBA), we have a chance to make this a successful season.

Still sticking with my prediction that we'll finish 7th or 8th, but maybe the boys have a little confidence and we seem to be getting a bit of the rub of the green the last two weeks. It's still possible we could climb as high as 5th or 6th. Of course, we could just as easily drop back, but I prefer to look up.

Yea buddy. We 'should' beat all of those teams, but this is Everton! Alas, like you, I like to look up and dream so yeah mate let's hope we win all of those.

We've actually been pretty brilliant results wise against the ****tier sides this year, barring QPR on the opening day. In fact apart from Villa we've beaten them all. October just cocked it all up for us and we lost every single game against top 4 opposition. Encouraging thing is that it didn't knock us off balance and we've kept beating them after that month passed. If we hit anything like good form we'll stay top 8 and push higher by January. Then February will have the same effect as Oct and it's just if we can dust ourselves down and keep getting the wins as we've done recently that might get us 7th again.

Well tbf if we beat pretty much every other team, except for the top 4 guys, and predicting we'll have a blinder and we won't lose all 8 games and draw or win at least 1 or 2 - that's even more than top 8 and stuff. And I don't mean smack silly everyone else, just not lose too often... if you catch my drift...

But it's a bit too much non-Everton, is it?

Anyway, BRING THEM ON! With you, JDawg!

Red carded for considering that scum top four material. If you had specified getting beaten by the professional referees association it would have made it a bit more clear and a bit more alright.
