It's not a duplicate thread. I titled this as a December Poll to reflect current mood.

At the last count only 12% of fans voted for Howard so clearly things have changed considerably.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but you do seem incredibly wedded to your pro Howard viewpoint!

Why are you so against any discussion? That's what a internet forum is for at the end of the day! The poll you refer to above was 91 for Howard and 90 for Robles but - amazingly - you asked for the poll to be closed just as someone was about to vote for Robles!!

My opinion is shared by the majority of GOT as you can see. This is a mere rehash after only 5 weeks from the official debate.

Titling it "The December poll" only leads us down the path of last year when Martinez polls appeared after every game and created all kinds of unnecessary work for the mods especially when there's already the Howard and Robles threads to discuss them.

Given that Robles has played again recently, Im inclined to let your poll run for a couple of days, which is about how long I let Dougie's run.

It's different to the Martinez In/Out polls because there are two distinct choices which could actually happen.

Having agreed with Charlie over something I'm now going to have a lie down in a quiet corner to recover.

Edit : I've changed the end date of the poll.

Your last poll was 50.3% in favour and that only as poor old @Michaelcoyb was shamelessly denied his democratic right!

Is Robles currently top drawer? - No

Is he currently better than the hapless Howard? - Yes

He deserves a chance to make the Keepers shirt his own, he did well when he had his extended spell in the side last season, and on current form Howard shouldn't be an automatic first choice.

We need a new keeper next summer, so why not give this bloke the chance to show that he's not just a "No.2"?

Won't happen as Tim is patently undroppable in Martinez book, but it should imo.
