Death in Primark in town tonight

Can't necessarily blame the store. I used to work for a metro operator, and we were prone to "one-unders", or "person under the train" to give the tannoy version. A few were accidents (people not concentrating, drunk/drugged up) but the majority were suicide. I used to review the CCTV vids and the behaviour just prior was typical. (No I don't have a YouTube channel for it).

Anyway we introduced half-height platform screen doors to prevent the accidents, but if someone wants to off themselves, they will. And people still do.

Unbelievable really, as I used to tell people at dinner parties, death by train is a bad way to do it. Mis-judge it slightly, and you're facing a slow death, as it's not easy untangling you from several hundred tonnes of steel. Worst case you survive and are living with dismemberment and pain for the rest of your life. Especially as there were so many high rise buildings in this place. Easy, instant.

This is one of the most bleak posts I've ever read. The bit in bold made me laugh though.

Does anyone know if it was intentional or not?

The thing is, if someone picks a spot where they want to end it all, there's precious little the owners of a particular place can do about it. Obviously if they're teetering on a balcony and someone has the opportunity to stop them then they should, but it's hard to comment unless we know the full facts really.

It's desperately sad either way.

You can be sure those spivs who run the store are to blame. Twice now in the same spot. They wont hold up their hands for anything. Look at those murderers up at Kirkby who run that Sonae plant. There's been multiple deaths to workers and the sh*te they spew out into that town is like some plant on the Volga in the Stalin era.
