Less than a week after the last ball has been kicked you feel a gaping hole in your weekend where Everton should be.

It ain't the lack of football in general I miss.....it is the lack of Everton in particular

I will watch the Euros all right, but I don't get passionate over international football.

Nar I dont miss it, but im excited for what the Summer brings, we have so much to look forward to.

Personally think we will have our manager in place before the Euros, then we have the Euros, then after the Euros will sign some boss soccer players.

Found last season quite draining in a way, few highs with the 2 Semi Finals, but mostly just utter horror from week to the next, glad we have a little break to recharge the old batteries.

Sure in a few weeks I will be going crazy, but for now, calm.

...being an Evertonian I'm generally very happy when the summer comes around especially this year with the Olympics et al. Saying that, I'm hoping we are on the verge of exciting times and there might be lots of interest off the pitch in the next few months.

Given the choice between watching us play or listening to the media drone on about us pursuing Michael Carrick and Mark sodding Hughes, I know which I'd prefer. It's not as if there's going to be any respite on here either, as our resident euro-futsal hipsters crank their "sell fourteen players to buy nine from Germany and Portugal" FM threads into overdrive.

It's a massive summer for us with hopefully a lot of change, embrace it - we won't get an opportunity like this again.
