I know I've slated you in recent weeks Mr Moyes, but I'd just like to thank you for getting that performance from the team tonight. That's two games in a row where we've played some lovely football. Please keep it up on Saturday.

From The Grauniad:

David Moyes, who has done such a fine job at Goodison Park, would love nothing more than to mark a decade in his post with an FA Cup final appearance. Everton's complete dismissal of Sunderland in this replay will be regarded by many as a surprise. To others, it will rightly be the latest endorsement of Moyes's capabilities.

plaudits for honesty fella - many here will be pretending they never joined in the Moyes Out threads

Dear David.

You mess up against Liverpool, and I wont be accountable for my actions

Kind regards, BLS

Dear David, thank you for all that you do, you really are wonderful sometimes, but don't ever, EVER!, roll over in a feckin derby again or i will hunt yo ass down and kill it.

I strongly suspect that Jelavic looking a bit useful upfront has galvanised the entire side and ever so subtly got them playing with that bit more belief. It doesn't matter how good midfielders and defenders are, without the belief that your forwards will bag a few on a regular basis, they won't play at their confident best. A more than decent number 9 makes everyone else in the team that bit better, just as a Nev in goal makes the rest of the team play with less anxiety.

Cahill and Neville touched on this after the game, they sang Jellyheads praises big time.

I felt, and probably still do, that Moyes has become too negative in his selections/tactics for us to move forward.

I'll be the first to admit though that he's had it spot on the last two games and would be most pleased if he could keep this up.

Kudos Ginge, keep it f*cking going.

Nice to see, really made up here, you guys are going to have a lot of fun at Wembley, enjoy it!

Fair play to the Moist one, he's gone for it, as you have to in a cup game, and we've come out winners. He got it spot on today, there's plenty of work to do still, but you have to be in to win!
