I think that ship has to an extent sailed. He wasn't happy when Madrid screwed up the transfer and now reports from Marca (essentially Real's mouthpiece) state they are looking to sign Kepa, another highly rated GK from atletico whose contract is up in 2018.

Could still be there but zidane is quite keen on navas and he seems to be good enough for them

Yeah, I think you're right, I read that about Kepa. Hope he signs a new contract with Athletic. Still young but looks superb tbh

He certainly was and there were many in the media, pundits etc who said he was too small, needed to bulk up etc.
Can't say I've noticed him being any bulkier, but he's a fine goalie indeed.

He wasn’t really shaky. He had weakness in not commanding his box but he made world class saves even then. He certainly put on muscle but didn’t lose his agility. Plus he was 20 at the time so hard to be too critical.



That mata FK save 50 seconds in is one of his best even today.
