I was one of them mate. But is wasn't just FDB; I also wanted Bergkamp, Stam and Overmars as DOF. Once it became clear that wasn't happening my interest in him waned.
They haven't given him long to make his mark though it has to be said. It's not as if they've been getting hammered every week plus I'm sure they even beat Juve earlier in the season. Maybe something going on behind the scenes we're not aware of.
To be fair, far better managers (not to mention players) than him have failed at Inter. It's not the easiest place to do well at.

Shouldn't read too much into it, inter are all over the place atm, full of mixed foreign players being bought and sold or loaned all over the place.
No longer have players like Zanetti and Cambiasso who form part of the backbone, count Cesar and Lucio in that too I guess, not forgetting cordoba.
