Should changing time by an hour twice a year continue?

Seen a thing on Facebook before that some states in America are trying to campaign to abolish this clock changing in the USA, I'd this true anyone know ?

Got a friend in Alabama, I said we are only five hours ahead now when the clocks went back, I said when do your clocks go back, she hadn't got a clue WTF I was on about lol lol
