I'd like to have seen Unsworth carry on in the hotseat. He took charge of the restructuring from one playing style throughout the club beyond first team level to another, and it would have been logical (and preferable) to have kept that continuity. Hopefully he gets his chance some day...certainly that's a better shout than the 'get Dunc in der lad' shouts.

He comes across very well and he's been in there with three managers now so is learning all the time.

Because the playing style he would have continued was most certainly working for us at the time.

I think Unsworth will do well here one day.

Unsy's time will come I think, and I too am somewhat sceptical on the merits of DF in his current role.

Unsy has wayyyyy more claim to the managers role in the future... but, for now, I suspect he's got the ideal role for him and is forging a strong relationship and reputation with both RK and SW, and through them with FM.

My heart sinks when we get the periodic "give it to Dunc" shouts. The feller shows no aptitude for anything as far as I can tell.

Unworthy looks a natural though.
