He's free agent, and it's a great hitman. So, is 33 years old, but is the striker we need.

Why Moyes don't buy him, and there's any rumour about him?
 

I don't think we've can afford any new signings mate.

Even on a free transfer, the wages would sink us in more debt.

Not worth it, as that will be 2 strikers in their 30's taking massive wages out of our skint club.

He's finished, has been for a while.

Moyes has tried to get us away from Signings like that. (like when we had Ginola and Gascoigne when he first arrived)

And yeah money and stuff too....
 

About 4-5 years ago he was very very good and would have cost a good £20 million ,but he had a poor season in spain and is asking top wages , and i thought he was joining a club in uae
 
isnt there something like 300 odd free agents this year still without clubs?

Its a sad state of affairs that we cant even sign one of them

There's a difference between "can't" and "don't want to".

Even if their free then the package including wages has to be taken into consideration. Most of them are too old and want top dollar because free and it's the end of their career.
 

i'm sure we can afford a wage offer of 20k a week. One year rolling contract.... nothing to loose.If he has no better offers we will have him. Gotta be worth a gamble this fella me thinks
