Happy to see the love here for our greatest ever player. Older City fans say Peter Doherty was our best ever, but I've never seen him. I have seen Colin Bell, Mike Summerbee and Franny Lee. Kinkladze and the Goat, and later Sergio, Yaya and Kompany. Nothing compares to David Silva. He is simply sublime. A gentleman on and off the pitch and a real player. I was fortunate enough to watch Zabba's last game and was very emotional when he left. I will cry buckets the day David Silva leaves Manchester City.

Level if not better than Iniesta. Iniesta played at that level for longer however.

I can't remember all our greats from that era, there was just so many of them.

It would certainly boost his position in the best player in the premier league era in my eyes if he had came here!

A very, very good player indeed. City will certainly have a void in their side when he rides off into the sunset, and they know it too. I think he'll be replaced and replaced well, but he'll always be missed and revered over at City. I hope our Marco turns out to be the no. 1 Silva in terms of premier league and CL importance though.

I think his replacement is already here. Bernado Silva will take his first team spot and Phil Foden will do what Bernado is doing now.
