price needs to jib it,said he was going to get done before a dig was thrown in that round, broken mentally the second the body shot went in the round before .shame never want home fighters to get beat but he is missing something upstairs that even talent cant mask ,no future near the top unless something trastic happens that i dont think is realistic at the present time

Didn't watch it last, just watched it now. Same here, as soon as he sagged from that body punch it seemed to take something away. He basically give up, he could have taken a knee and re grouped way before the ref gave him a standing count. You know when a fighter doesn't want to know, no protest at all with the stoppage.

yes you right , should have went down took a count, but he didnt even try and hold on and turned his back just didnt want to be there, they are blaming lewis on the radio this morning ? frank maloney was totally gone after the fight felt sorry for him

I thought it was a terrible idea to bring lewis into the camp, yes have a chat with him about the mental side of coming back from a defeat but your trainer is there to train you and come up with the fight tactics. he should have stayed out of the gym. I have stood next to david price and he is a huge man, why he kept dipping forward and covering up I'll never understand he could have kept him off with his jab all night, he hardly threw a meaningful jab in five rounds. It will be interesting to see what he does next, basically giving up could do a lot of damage mentally. I hope he gets himself together as I like him and he comes across as a good bloke.

cant see were he is going to go harry, for his size he should have just hung on to thompson and bought himself some time and the weight of him would knacker the other fella, price has a good jab said pre fight he should have fough behind it just won the fight nothing to get excited about just win, like tony bellew has done a few times, never met or know anybody that knows price but other than being a redneck he comes across as a decent fella, felt sorry for him, think lewis was a distraction for him ,you could see him looking over from his corner towards him ,when his corner were talking to him thought it was bad form really, on lewis part, maybe he was getting frustrated ,but still he has a trainer in his corner not in the seats.

Tony Thompson is an adopted Scouser, it's official. That man is one funny b*stard.

Feel terrible for Pricey, it was going so well. I was there and when he dropped him I leapt out of my seat. All down hill from there though. I know he's a red and the kopites shag off his entrance music but he's a scouser and a top bloke. Not nice seeing him get beat again, this time so badly. Hope he comes back but he's definitely dropped out of the Premier League of heavyweight boxing.

We always have Bellew!
