I'd only take him if we got him on a free but really, is he an improvement to our squad? I don't think so.

He'd be behind Saha, Yakubu, & Vaughan in the pecking order.

I'd suggested taking a look at Kevin Davies about, I think, 4 years ago on my old mailing list and got absolutely slaughtered. People love to hate him and he's never been prolific but I'll be damned if he isn't about as solid as you can get when it comes to old school centre forwards.
