Great interview, albeit theres nothing about Everton in this bit. Its also on iTunes podcast if you search for Graham Hunter.

They are not wrong about that hotel, or San Sebastian for that matter.
 
Excellent football interview. Nothing about EFC in it (will be in the next one this week) but just to hear a football man, and closed dour Moyes, speak very candidly and openly about his experiences - its a great little listen.
 
Interesting bit on the blog introducing the Podcast that Moyes was all set to go to Athletic Bilbao in 2012/13
 

PT 2 highlights will be:

  • Wonderful time at Everton. They were on their knees before I came. In the wilderness. Walter was great though.
  • I had no money to spend, but Bill was a great chairman, did all he could for me.
  • The players I brought in were fantastic bargains. I managed to bring the best out of them; we just couldn't take the final step though.
  • The fans were great. I had a fantastic 11 years there.
  • United offered me a contract after my old one at Everton expired, so I couldn't turn down that opportunity of a lifetime.
  • I was told I'd get 6 years at Old Trafford, but was judged after 6 months.
  • We needed to go into a transition period but weren't allowed.
  • No regrets.
  • Will I return to the PL? Maybe one day, but I'm loving San Sebastian at the minute.

Correct, I met Moyes when staying in the Maria Cristina over Easter.

San Sebastian is a wonderful town.
 
Part two is available now. Noit a lot on Everton, certainly nothing we didn't know. When Kenwright hired Moyes, he told him, you will only have £5m a season for all your dealings. Moyes said, no problem, but I'll need more time.
 
Moyes staying in a hotel for years.
