all sounds like childish finger pointing to me, personalities over issues as per usual in british politics, excatly why the likes of farage get so many headlines and continues to line his pockets

Not exactly personalities if the guy at the top of the political order has absolutely no idea what issues face the common person on the street. How can he govern effectively if he's absolutely oblivious?

I agree entirely mate regards Cameron, I was more generalising on British politics as a whole, and I think a upper class right wing politician shopping in waitrose isn't much of a headline maker for me in a deal world

I don't really think it makes a difference. John Major was the last 'working class' PM we had and he was hardly brilliant, was he? To a lesser extent Gordon Brown could also be deemed to have come from a reasonably poor background, and he couldn't tell his arse from his elbow at the best of times.

this is the same across all parties IMO - completely detached

Tomorrow Dave talks about the best discussion he ever had on grouting and sealants in his favourite DIY superstore.

Can't wait.
