I can't really have a pop at him for it - it's like kicking a puppy. It's just an old guy who is saying something that relates to anyone in his age bracket. I can't criticise him for being honest.

When I was a kid, going the "[Poor language removed] (Pakistani) shop" was just a common phrase too. It wasn't meant to be racist, even though it was; it was just a label and people just took it at face value without thinking deeper into it.

leave him alone lids. he broke his leg in the FA Cup final. Yis are far far too quick to tarnish people IMO. Its not as if he has a sign saying : No Blacks No Irish No Dogs outside his gaff..did i mention he broke his leg in the fa cup final ?

I'm not offended by KT Hopkins statement by the way, nor do I care what she says. I'm purely pointing out the double standards in this country when it comes to racism/political correctness! You can't say the word '[Poor language removed]' to describe someone from '[Poor language removed]'stan but you can say stuff like this about people from scotland/Britain??
