Just had one fitted by the dealer on my new car after my son writing the car off -airbags deployed I am thinking of getting my other car done which is older are they any good ?

I chose the direct to the ignitions type ......plus sawdust ....... lol

Halfords fit them, but the reviews are not that great ...... flat batteries etc plus they do it in 2 hours front & back from your ignition ...?

Can the wife not make one of an old chick pea can and some Dyson parts ?

My son as an IT engineer can pick out the right dash cam, but he is not an auto electrician on cars - he can come around & fix your computer & view your history for you lol
He's 1000% lying to you and can set it up as it's easy and doesn't take long (depending on car etc.) but wants nothing of it as it's a picky process.

Most are either wired into the 12V socket harness or the 12V itself (as you probably have 1 in front and rear), some cars post-2008 have a hidden outlet/cable in the glovebox for even easier access as well, or a spare under the steering wheel wall (or paneling depending on car again and all).

2-3 hours for a business sounds about right honestly. We installed a front one on a friend's SEAT and it took us about 2 hours cuz we tried to hide the cables and also learn how to remove the absolutely stupid panels and all that.

Did you insert it into the ignition ?
