I've just read of Talksport that he's free in the summer, so it would seem likely that we will go back in for him when Pienaar returns to Spurs.

Apparently he'd agreed personal terms with us before Bayern started asking for more money. It would therefore appear certain that we'll move for him again in the next window.

Hopefully. He's old but on a bosman would be ace.

He's only 3 months older than Pienaar. I would begrudge paying Spurs to give us Peanuts back. Plus he might help Jelavic to settle and he could also cover for Baines.
