For a guy who gets paid to be an MEP, he rarely ever talks about European policy, European measures or European directives. Just how much he hates it.

It does kinda raise an interesting point though doesn't it? The perception is very much the UKIP (or Eurosceptic Tories such as Hannan) are largely voted in because they want to get out of the EU, which is fair enough and all that, but there must be day job style tasks that MEPs should be doing, surely? I can't imagine someone who thinks it's all a waste of time would be all that enthusiastic about doing those day job tasks.

It's like voting for your local MP and electing an anarchist for the job. No problem with anarchists but they're not going to do all the jobs MPs should do for their constituents, are they?
