just read this thread ,why did littlejohn pick on the person to begin with? if she was doing her job ok, no complaints or scandals what was his beef to start with , im all for free speech but it has to have a line you dont cross , this was just plain and simply bullying , lets prod the freak for entertainment, there isnt a story the fella had a nip and tuck went back to work doing her job s getting on with life when this horrible [Poor language removed] steps out of the shadows to ruin her life, disgusting

Both the writer and the editor are to blame, the writer more so though obviously. How anyone can bring themselves to write something that vile in a national newspaper is beyond me, even if that is his opinion, what right does he have to use his position of responsibility in order to spread it?

Opinion isn't news. Opinion and gossip columns have no place in national newspapers.

Also, shame on those who ran to the Daily Mail with the story rather than sitting down and talking with her in the first place. Ignorant [Poor language removed].

Think about those kids too. Having to deal with the trauma of having a transgender teacher? Try having to deal with the death of their teacher. Not even comparable.

Someone needs to be brought to account but I doubt they will. Even if it turns out her death had nothing to do with this (highly unlikely) he should still be sacked anyway for writing such a vile article.

what a F'ing bully. I dont get the transgender thing but if i came out with anything remotely similar to that article I'd rightly be sacked. There is no need for a national newspaper to pick on an individual who may well be going through troubled times, these are the tactics of a shihtouse. There is no evidence at all that non hetero people are a threat to kids any more than hetero people. What an abhorrent gobsihte.

Their not, that's why. I know a couple of gay teachers and they are great teachers. Teaching and sexuality never cross over so I don't understand the logic behind people saying that LGBT people are worse teachers.

people dont seem to understand that statistically, their kids are more at threat from male relatives than others outside the family circle.
