Thought about putting this in the Dead Thread, but figure they deserve their own thread. Homework came out my first year of Uni, and used to listen to it loads in one of my best mates' room. Been a fan ever since. Gutted they've called it a day, still one of my favourite, if not my favourite, dance acts. Love stuff like Around the World, One More Time, Harder Better Faster etc etc. Hopefully this isn't the last we've heard of them. Fingers crossed for some solo stuff or some more movie soundtracks, like they did for Tron: Legacy.

Was only listening to “Human After All” a few weeks ago, which is such an underrated album.

“Homework” was THE sixth form common room album of my teens, although I single handedly made Stereophonics “Word Gets Round” a regular on that CD player.

Saw them at Pukkelpop 2006, a festival in Belgium in which when you translate the name into English, comes out as “Acnepop”. Was a fantastic weekend and Daft Punk finished it off brilliantly. I just loved how they were dressed up as robots on turntables inside a spaceship resembling a pyramid.

Sucks they have split, but what a fantastic career they shared with the fans, including myself.
