Anyone here shave this way, with a safety razor? I got one as an Xmas present. Shaved 4 or 5 times with it now and it cuts my neck to bits. Think I might just stick with my electric razor. Shame though cos you get some nice shaving soaps and creams.

I can't wet shave because my neck and chin get horrendous rashes. Got an electric razor for Christmas and will never look back. Really close shave and only the tiniest irritation. Stick to electric.

Mach3 for me

Not fussy on electric razors

I remember the days when you had actual blades that came in paper wrapping

.....couldn't have an electric razor.
I got a Braun one me bird won in a competition and it took me about 12 months to get the courage to use it. It's pony, doesn't shave anywhere near close enough. I use disposables and shave once or twice a week, easy.

Want a good cheap razor?

The shark from lidel. like 3 quid, skins a bit tender afterwards but cuts a beard off in no time at all.

You could order one of the sample/variety packs, and see if a different brand of razors works better for you. Had to go through 3 brands in order to find one that didn't leave burn or cuts..

the only way to shave:

I usually like leave a bit of stubble on so have a trimmer.
Think this is the model:

Its very mild, and if i want to look clean shaved (or as close as i can be bothered) I just take the guard off.
No rash, no real irritation apart from sometimes on my neck. Good for lazy buggers like me.

Not suitable for doing your fun bags mind, can nip/cut on more contoured surfaces. So I'm told anyway.

I can confirm that doing this is far from a good idea.
