anyone had a email off everton offering free coach from pathos to Nicosia with a stop at their hired pub in larnaca and 2 free bevys?

No way you can transfer this, especially flights.

I did it in the summer.

Booked 10 days all inc in Majorca with wife and kids, £2700, booked the wrong week! Could not go, they would not refund. Asked around my friends etc and my lads football coach and his chick went. when they came back they kept messaging me "we have something for you", I was secretly hoping about £1k or something..... it was a bottle of champagne!

A near 3k holiday and they give me a bottle of fizz.

Gutted.

yep - suits us.

They're doing pick ups from Paralimini (near Ayia Napa and Protaras) and Paphos to take people to a pub in Larnaca for four hours and then from Larnaca to the game and back to Paralimini or Paphos after.

Four of us were getting a taxi from Ayia Napa to the game and back which was going to cost 120 Euros - now we just have to get to Paralimini instead (short taxi ride from Ayia napa)

That was my first thought.

A pal of mine had two flights to Portugal booked last year but due to a bereavement asked me if I wanted to use the flights.

He had an apartment down t' Algarve so the accommodation was free as well.

I was well up for it until I contacted Easyjet.

By the time I would have paid to change the names on the tickets and other adjustments, it was actually going to cost me more than my chum had paid for them in t' first place.

This was because they have a really mean way of extorting money from travellers.

If you buy a plane ticket for £35 in January, which is what happened for a flight in May you lose your money if you don't use it.

We all know that.

And if you can't use it, you can give it to another person.

Now, the other person has to pay for the name change.....from memory £25 per person each way.

That was fifty quid for me and fifty for my wife....£100.

But here's the even bigger catch.

They also charge you the difference between the price paid for the flight in January and what it is on the day you change.

We would have been going at two days notice and the prices were more or less double what they had been when initially purchased.

So the two return tickets which had cost around £140 for the pair in January would have cost me £380 in the June

Anyone in Nicosia on the Thursday?

If so, anyone scoped out somewhere to drink beforehand?

Doesn't seem to be anywhere obvious from what I can tell
