I know some people that are in their 30's and never even TRIED foods, not even tried and don't like … mostly veg , I don't get it.
There isn't really an excuse any more either for not experiencing different meals.

Even in Liverpool, the variety of restaurants, cuisines and dishes available has grown massively in the last decade or two, let alone in places like London.

You really only had run of the mill English, French, Chinese, India and (some) Greeks to choose from, while now there's every type of food you can think of.

Many of the run of the mill restaurants, as I mentioned earlier, have improved significantly and diversified their menus, so really it's nothing but being fussy.

The other week at her work my gf had a ham and cheese croissant and it blew people's minds

My favourite Indian curry tends to be with a medium spice/heat a bit of bite but not too overpowering. Dhansak & Podina are my favourites also like a Bhuna. Some great side dishes too like Saag Paneer (Spinach & Cheese). What you like in one restaurant that might be your favourite could be completely different on the other side of town mainly depends on what region the chefs are from as they all have different takes on the recipes.

Also a big fan of thai curry with a nice bottle of cold chang (not warm plastic cup like at Goodison!) I find with Thai curry they are just as/more fragrant than Indian but lighter and don't keep you on the pan for most of the next day!

Like a Pathia or Rogan Josh from the takeaway. Used to get them as a family (still do for some special occasions), order a meat dish each, a few veggie dishes and rice/naans etc and then just mix it all together. Ace.

Nowadays I normally get a set menu from my local place, cheap and easy and saves trying to decide what to get. Love a bright red masala!! :o :D

Every variety of Thai curry beats any Indian one for me although I bet if I went to especially Southern India I'd absolutely love them.

Malaysian curry is amazing too.
Thai food is my favourite cuisine, and I like Thai curries a lot, but I still prefer Indian curries.

It's the salads and stirfries that do it for me. Nothing beats them.

Good shout for Nyonya curry. Lived on that stuff in Malaysia. Was quite a fan of the Nyonya food there generally.

Korma needs more love in here. I love spice I grow my own habeneros but your favourite curry discussion doesn't have to be a testosterone fueled 'I love the hottest ones they're the best' boasting competition.

True but the Korma is the ultimate white mans curry, all the fun taken out and replaced with lots of beige.

I like a decent Korma only slightly less than a vindaloo. Pasanda is probably my favourite mild curry though.

Not sure I've had an Indian curry I don't like tbh.

My wife likes spicy food, but unfortunately for her it causes hiccups. The korma she gets is, in Martinez’s, phenomenal: very creamy and tasty.

It just does have enough punch in it for me as my tastebuds love a good bit of spice.
