GraemeS1980

Player Valuation: £20m
2012-2013 season to date

League Cup exit to Leeds United 2-1 attendance 21,164 which included 5,000 Evertonians incidentally.
FA Cup Quarter Final exit to Wigan 12 places below us at home 3-0

Current League status

6th position
Won 11 (Man Utd, Villa, Swansea, Southampton, Sunderland, Spurs, West Ham, Wigan, Newcastle, West Brom, Reading)
Lost 5 (West Brom, Reading, Chelsea, Man Utd, Norwich)
Drawn 12 (Newcastle, Wigan, QPR, RS, Fulham, Norwich, Arsenal, Man City, Stoke, Swansea, Southampton, Villa)

Goals For 44
Goals Against 35
Goal Difference Plus 9

Over the last six league games we would be ninth in the table and over the last ten games we would be seventh on goal difference.

Ok enough of that and down to business, I am still fuming and this is the only way I can vent my anger. I am looking at the senior squad list and I would keep the following:
Baines
Jagielka
Coleman (debatable)
Stones (Kid)
Duffy (Kid)
Gibson
Oviedo (debatable but not seen enough of him yet, doubtful at present moment though)
Barkley (Play him FFS)
Pienaar
Junior (Kid)
Mirallas
Velios (Needs more of a chance I hold a lot of promise for him)
McAleny (Kid)
Kennedy (Kid)

Bill Kenwright should step down as Chairman at LEAST, if he cant or wont sell the Club at LEAST stop turning up and giving us BS

now this isnt me panicking or anything like that, Moyes's negativity and lack of tactical nouse is losing us BIG games. FA Cup Final, Semi and Quarter finals in the spaced of five years all bottled. I could go on about the players but this sums it up for me.....a fellow GOT member put on the match thread Phil Neville is stealing a footballers wage. Well lad you have hit it spot on there, along with a few others Neville is way way out of his depth when it comes to the big games, is it his age or is it the fact that with a squad so small and a manager that seems to favour him, that he feels he is on a cushdy number!?
Fellaini and Jelavic, well I would let Fellaini go at the end of the season just do it whilst there is money to be had. Same with Jelavic try and PX him for someone that actually gives a **** about running and trying to get in positions.

Sorry I diverted off on a rant, my point is this there are 10 games left no cups left to play for and very little chance of European Qualification it also looks like the RS have done an Everton and had a ****e start to the season but flying for the second half and what with the buck toothed donkey always going to score they will probably over take us.

So what should or needs to be done in your opinion?

Im feeling very let down by Everton Football Club tonight, just been onto the OS and what is the main page??? Season Tickets Go On Sale Monday no apology from Chairman, Manager, Players, CEO or Tealady come on EFC sort OUR Club out!

how is it debatable we should keep Coleman? He is young, an international, always gives his best, attacks whether played at RB or RM, and is one of our main assets and reasons to be positive. He produces crosses and tries to help us win games. He's a good player so I found that comment strange

Absolutely agree, and although today was not one of his finest, compared with most of the rest, he never hid, he kept trying to create something.

Really pi**ed me off the way he hesitated to take on the left side of the Wigan defence in the first half because Pointer wanted the ball played crab-like to him.

In the second half he attacked more, but final ball just never came off. His header was well-wide, yes, but at least he got into a position where he was able to have a go at goal. I just cringe at the low number of efforts on goal from this team in that match.

Agree with a lot of what you've said there, but to say you want to get rid of Jelavic and get in "someone who actually gives a **** about running and getting into positions" is a bit weird.

Jelavic has obviously been struggling massively of late, but the ONE thing you can't accuse him of is not running and getting into positions! He's been doing that, and just been totally unable to finish anything when he's got there.

Like what you've done except for the list that doesn't include Anichebe or Jelavic.

7 of those draws should really have been wins. That would be an extra 14 points that would put us level with City.

It´s not about the manager.

It´s not about the players having off days or bad attitudes.

It´s not about mental blocks or inferiority complexes.

It´s about MONEY.

Without investment we could have Mourinho, Capello or Hiddink and we´d still never win anything.

You need quality to win cups, and quality is expensive.

Bradford got to the final of the League Cup, they've spent less than us and are nowhere near as good. They got beaten by Swansea who are by no means big spenders, nor are they better than us.

We got beat by Wigan yesterday, not Chelsea or Man City.

Swansea lad, not exactly the richest team in the world are they n bradford are not even a top flight team and played the final, so sorry but it's not about money. winning the title is about money yes, not the cups.

You can't keep blaming money for woefull tactics, motivation and substitutions.

Seriously, we have been beaten by Leeds, Wigan, West Brom, Reading and Norwich as well as draws against Newcastle, Wigan, QPR, Fulham, Norwich, Stoke, Swansea, Southampton, Villa

NONE OF THESE SIDES ARE BETTER THAN OURS nor did they spend as much assembling them as we did.

Money has nothing to do with it this time.

Those are the exceptions. Would you bet on Bradford reaching another cup final any time soon?

If you roll the dice five times in a row once in a blue moon you´ll get five 6:s in a row.

I´m not saying our current predicament isn´t down to Moyes because I believe he has taken us as far as he can and that it is time for a change.

But that does not change the fact that the more class players you have the better the chances are of you winning those defining matches (like Liverpool, Chelsea in the cups). And class players cost money.

Where are Everton after 10 years of bargain hunting? Punching above our weight but forever banging our head against the proverbial glass ceiling.
