Cure v Smiths

Bored of this transfer thing.

I've been doing a fair bit of listening to both recently. I'll go for the Cure, prefer Smith's voice to Morrissey's and I think he's a better guitarist then Marr.

I prefer The Cure. Disintegration is one of my all time favourite records. I like the Smiths' stuff too although I kind of got sick of them as an ex of mine used to absolutely rinse them to death.

Morrissey is a bellend though. He recently claimed eating meat was no different from paedophilia.

Liked both of them at the time but I think time has treated The Cure's music more kindly.

I'd have just quoted the bit you agreed with there. The way I read it you agree with meateaters being nonces.

The Smiths by a mile - Although if The Cure's output was all to the standard of 'Disintegration' then it would be a much closer fight
