Crystal Palace Reschedule - what's happening

I think they are possibly waiting for us to be knocked out the cup.

Either way, I think they will wait till after the cup tie, if we win, it lessens the options.
 
It'll be days before the cup final, in fact we'll play Whoever on the Sat, Palace on the Tuesday, Newcastle on the Thursday and then the Cup Final on the saturday with a reduced allocation of 1500 due to safety concerns, the concerns being that some r/s might turn up at Euston en route to the pit for a home game.
 
I am going to guess that we will play palace on this on the 25th/26th march so we have 3 so called easy home games in a row,Cardiff/Swansea/Palace,then Fulham away a few days later,considering everton said it would be sorted out early in the week [last week],they dont half take there time.
 

I thought they would have made us play on 4th or 5th March (2 or 3 days before the Arsenal FA Cup game).

Hoping this is not the case as this this would give Arsenal and advantage.

Next date is available is 25th / 26th March (but this date would used for a FA Cup Replay, should one be required).

2nd & 9th April are champions league games. Not sure when they would fit this in.

Pulis said they were very close to agreeing a date - not nothing has come out.

Not possible. Unless we make a gentleman's agreement with Roy Hodgson and all the other International coaches not to select our players, sadly, Can't see Ireland, England, Spain, Belgium etc... reacting nicely to that, so it's out the question. So we'll play 25/26 if we don't get a replay.
 

Liverpool are playing Sunderland at Anfield on March 26th.

So we won't be playing anyone at home on March 26th.

We could play C. Palace at home on March 25th - however, if Swansea beat Napoli in the 2nd leg (currently 0-0), Everton vs Swansea will be switched to Sunday March 23rd, so I doubt we'd play another home game 2 days later.

We also have Newcastle away to rearrange. Once we get into April/May, there are only 2 midweeks free:

- April 15/16 (we probably won't play at home on April 15th, as LFC are holding their 25th anniversary Hillsborough tribute that day at Anfield and Martinez is one of the speaker).

- May 5/6.

This is all due to this new rule that you can't play on the same days as Champions League or Europa League games are played.

What might end up happening is one or more of the games may need to be played on a Monday night, 2 days after a Saturday fixture. This is what happened with the FA Cup games this week, the Hull vs Brighton replay and the Sheff Wed vs Charlton rearranged FA Cup game.

I work at the newspaper company that own the Croydon Advertiser. Spoke to the Palace writer and he says he has spoken to Palace chairman this morning and it's looking like the reschedule date could be in April due to Champs league / Fa Cup potential
