One of the greatest. I was utterly delighted for him in the Euros, lovely to see how much he cared even though his international teammates were almost uniformly gack.

Messi misses a penalty and promptly retires. There's simply no comparison, Ronaldo easily the greatest of the modern era.
Not to mention his tax shenanigans and the fact that he is pumped to the eyeballs with HGH. And yet the midget gets a free pass from the press time and time again while they have their knives at the ready any time Ronaldo shows any sign of his inevitable decline

Undoubtedly a great player, and his output in the past few years has been incredible. He's devastatingly effective at everything he does, and he can do everything very well. Messi though. Messi has magic in his boots that takes your breath away.

Great player but not a patch on Messi.
I watch a lot of Spanish footy mate, and to me it's his attitude, it's always about him. I remember him having a right go at Benzema for not passing to him even though the player Benzema actually passed to scored. Supposedly he's had a fair few run ins with Madrid fans over his whinging towards team mates who don't pass to him, throwing his arms in the air etc. Can't remember who it was now (think it may have been Morata) but a Madrid player scored and Ronaldo seen his arse because the player who scored didn't leave it for him to slot, Ronaldo wasn't a happy bunny, and just turned his back and walked away, didn't even go and celebrate.

Yeah i agree he can be a selfish,self centred player,I can understand some Madrid fans hating on him,but hes up there with the best ever and i cant get my head round the general hatred of him to be honest
