Id always rather just have a proper role with cheese/ham/bacon/whatever alongside my crisps. That said i would absolutely smash a fresh white roll chock full of roast beef and mustard brannigans,

Reading this thread with interest. Never heard of crisp butties before, but have to say it sounds intriguing. Never dish anything before you tried it yourself. Must give it a go some day.

Scabby scruffy barstewards. Could probably buy actual food for the price you're paying for crisps and charging 2 pound odd for a crisp butty is just wrong.

Worst thing is I'm think the prices of buying bulk deli meat and cheese and buying Walkers crisps is probably close and the real food might actually be cheaper.

Can't go wrong with a home made crisp beauty, but oilbeefhooked if I'm buying one for a few quid while I'm out?!

Used to love throwing a packet of pickled onion space raiders or meanies into two slices of cheap bread with loadsa butter.

Big fan of a spud butty as well - roasties from Sunday dinner with a bit of the gravy - thing of beauty.

Try Tayto Cheese and Onion crisps. If you don’t like those you are dead to me.
