She's been dead years, probably 24 hours after she was taken. There will be no light at the end of this tunnel, but it's nice to hope and dream. A terribly sad story.

I almost hope for her sake she is dead. It might be preferable to the sort of living hell she'd likely have suffered if she was alive.

Obviously, it's nice to hope and pray for the fairytale ending but it was never really on the cards from the moment she disappeared.

I'm not going to start on my feelings about her parents as it's probably not the place for it.

I have no faith in the McCanns I'm afraid but I hope with all my heart thatthe little girl is safe and well even though my head tells me she won't be.

Reckon of she was dead they would have found a body by now. Either stolen for a wealthy family or stolen for human trafficking. If its the latter I hope she is dead as horrible as that sounds.

Whoever kidnapped her either did a brilliant job of it or the police did a terrible job of finding them

When I was a nipper and my family went on holiday to places like Greece, they'd take me out with them if they wanted a meal and I'd just fall asleep in the restaurant and they'd carry me back with them to the hotel after they'd finished eating

I don't recall minding that much. I don't know why they just didn't do this

I mean, could have been that the child would have been okay, but why take the risk?
