each to their own of course Dualz, but its mad that people ignore the sentiment ( or at least dont understand it ) because of the time of year!

It's a much bigger song than that. It's cinematic. It's real. It's about love, relationships, broken dreams, regret, nostalgia, and hope. It's genius. And musically, it's on another level.

I'm biased. I'm a huge Pogues fan, and I think Shane MacGowan is easily in the genius cateogry and one of the very best songwriters of the 20th century.
