They'll only ever be one dynasty...

You're dead on.

Imagine, i create a 'reasonable' thread and then immediately its filled with total nonsense all once again totally unrelated to the thread. I think you either have to question peoples intelligence levels to some extent...

I mean its not hard is it:

What players can springboard us to the top
What other teams style of play do you want to emulate
What do you want the club to be known for

Pretty unrelated responses and just another thread derailed from the mindless posters filling the baord with "Martinez Out" every single post.

People are even posting saying they would rather not win the cup if thst meant Martinez stays.

For me its a direct intelligence correlation so obviously doing and thinking the opposite to them means im correct.

back on topic...what are your responses to the points i asked in the opening post?
I did post a few points earlier but I think we will be trying to bring players through who are already happy with receiving and giving the ball under pressure. What you probably can't train is clever movement around the box and someone who can pick that out.
Hopefully it's those kind of players we can use the extra cash to bring in
I'd agree pretty much with the players you've mentioned who can play it already but think we need to see it enforced a bit more on the pitch. A leader/playmaker needed as soon as possible

If we can change the manager, half the team, the teams mindset, the fans mindset, the board, the boards mindset, the ambition of the club, the stadium, keep the top players, sign new top players, defend a lead, stop conceding goals, clone Rom, get a better half time show...then we'll win the league.

It's easy when you think about it. Pull your finger out Everton

HT: Cheerleaders on the pitch, brasses in the (new) lounges?

Probably also a comma after correlation, but I'm prone to comma-splicing alleges Mrs Nigh, so don't take that as the final word.

Fine input sir, anything we can do to prove to the Zatmeister that while disagreeing with him, we are all still capable of a reasonable level of thought.

You're the sort of chap that values Super Kev Mirallas, I can tell.

I'm torn as to whether to sell him on FIFA, if I'm honest. He's extremely talented, but doesn't fit my long-term plans. But I'm also cheap (on FIFA as in real life) and the youth aren't yet ready for regular action, so he'll stay until he's too old to get the job done.

IRL, I'm way out of my league to comment, except that I'd love to see him flourishing again.

surely all this depends on what the new major stakeholder is in for. Maybe he just likes being part of a 'football family' with no real ambition to start a dynasty at all. Maybe he's a Peter Johnson type, Maybe he wants to be the new Bill, maybe he sees himself as a Cellini puppeteer - thing is we don't really know yet do we? I think we all have views about what we would like this to be but at the end of the day its all speculation. Perhaps we will have an indication by the start of the next season but unlikely before then
