Which explains why, the following day, the back page headline in The S** was: 'Barmy Boogers Living In A Caravan'. The legend endures and Marco Boogers never played for West Ham again. Ridiculous to get jail time for it in a football match but it is technically assault. Gerrard should have been locked away for 1 billion years no more no less for the Naysmith tackle.

I've read Maradona biography and he gets a mention in it for that incident haha
