CPP Letter

Anyone else received one of these?

I received two outlining the process of what will be happening next. I had never even heard of it until I got the letters.

I received about £800 for PPI compensation. Dont think it will be anywhere near that as I think I had card guard which is about £25 a year. I always thought it was weird that you had to have it- turns out you didnt and that calling to activate your card was actually calling CPP and therefore activating paying card guard or whatever- naughty.

I got this letter too. I've had a CPP policy for years so hoping to get a few bob back.

Any ideas of the amount we could be talking though mate?

They are saying it could cost £1.3BN, which is a hell of a lot of monies.

7 million people, average of £185 payout per person = £1.3bn

Victims will be refunded all the money they spent on the policy since January 14, 2005 (minus any money paid out on the policy) plus 8 per cent interest

I'd be narked about being called a victim.
