So if it was your relatives held captive on that island who were just happily living their lives you'd be like screw em?

Historically we know colonisation was wrong and shouldn't have happened but the people who have lived on that island for over a hundred years have right to self determination. It is actually Argentina acting the billy big bollocks colonial power by trying to take the islands that has been under British rule for as nearly as long as Argentina has been an official self governing country. If they want them they should be wooing the island population with promises of extra jobs, money, infrastructure and the ability of having a close mainland link. If the islanders want to become part of Argentina then fair enough.

I've got relatives in Dungannon being held captive.

Hopefully by that you just mean what country they belong to and not actually physically captured which I hope you can agree is two different things.

Obviously that is a difficult situation and one that is its own conversation but again people of NI deserve to choose their own destiny too and eventually they'll be part of the Republic, just by looking at the birth rates you can see that. The thing is to hand over control in a careful way that doesn't perpetuate the violence.

I’ve read about this, an incredible yomp.
Aye - hats off to them. The terrain is brutal and they did it in the middle of winter. 56 miles in 3 days with each man carrying an average of 80lbs on his back plus his weapon. Then fight a series of battles that involved storming dug-in enemy positions up mountains.

Don’t think any other fighting force in the world could have done what they did.

Aye that’s how to get an edge in battle like. They didn’t travel all that way to play.
