Looking at taking my dog Louis (saha) to be trained to sort his behaviour out and OMG cant believe how much it is....£25 for 30 mins, £50 for a consultation, extra vaccinations. And all it's gonna be is mauling session for Lou. He's gonna love it. Different people to snarl at!!!

what aspect do you need to train?,

Ummm Same here mate... my 11mth old Staffy x (Moysie) has this habit of coming up and nipping, then running off again and again....Quoted £75 home visit for an hour....
Had him "done" a month ago ...

Dogs eh...who would have em???? hehehe

Mines a staff x too. I had Louis done but if anything it's got worse.

I found ths number last night on the net for Barkbusters 0808 100 4071. Was quoted £270 for 12 months of unlimited one to one sessions. Think I might be booking it up pretty soon.

I had a staffie and a collie. My Staffie never bit anyone but was quite found of jumping up and slobbering on people. Dead now. I did train her to release toys, I can help with that....
Did you know staffies are the only breed the kennel club recommends as good with kids. Wierd considering they've got such a bad rep. Really powerful dogs though so you've got to get 'em trainined. If I were you I'd call/email a staffie owners club or rescue centre to see if they've got someone that knows the breed and how to train them. Also,it is good to socialise dogs. If you can get the dog mixing with other dogs it'll learn to behave so dog training is a good idea. Very loving loyal dog,but first time I met her (my wifes dog) I was a little scared!, and I'm fine with dogs, just the rep that made me think Uh oh!
