Corners, why do we even bother?

He seems to have a purist view that set piece goals are not proper goals, or even worse that they are a lottery which is cobblers. A lottery is something where you can't affect the result.

Pulis knows this and his grocks just cleared it with impunity and then his quicker players closed down the second ball therefore effortlessly recycling possession (as I believe the chalkboard warriors refer to it)

The irony being they left a humungous (carbon) footprint on Everton's aspirations lol

Timmy Cahill was good at doing two things. First he scored loads of header for Everton. Secondly he always was the first person who headed the ball away when we defended ck and fk. Priceless. No one can do the same.

By any chance we only need to up our defensive set-pieces. We should make all our attacking set-pieces fast-delivered if possible so we won't need to waste time in training them.

A fast break is, statistically, better than a set-piece.

It's certainly a worry when Distin is your biggest threat from corners. How many goals has he scored in the last 3 years again?

Lukaku is great at heading out of our own box but in their box he is clueless.
U look at Lpool against City skirtel score and Gerrard had a free header he should have scored. When was the last time we did such great corners? Maybe we should hit them outside of the box to McCarthy or Ossie and play from there.
