Corners, why do we even bother?

So tonight showed the difference a corner can make, we had what 9 and did nothing, Palace's 1st Bamm 2-0, I've noticed this all season, we never ever score from corners, granted Barkley got 1 a few weeks ago but still.
Our conversation rate must be the lowest in the prem, not just for scoring but attually winning the cross, take today we have what 12-14 corners? And not 1 resulted in a shot on target.
What the hell is wrong?
 

@Ara can't win every game, and it's half luck really, we are on the back of 3 own goals in the past 3 games too...
 
I don't disagree. We just aren't dangerous from corners and we really should be.

On a side note, we're not as dangerous from the penalty spot either.
 
It's not about winning every game, it's about the fact we have at least 10 corners a game and have almost zero end product off them.
 

Actually put in a couple of good ones today, but no one seems to go for it in the box. Just play them short then like we were doing at the start of the season.

I agree with this. The delivery, at least half of the time, is fine. The movement in the box is simply non-existent and there appears to be no aggression by our players to fight for a header.
 
Baines corners are shocking, del boys are 50-50 some times there boss the way he gets them to dip and swerve other times they barely hit the front post, miralles put some better ones in.


Dont know why we dont just drift them into the middle and just let the big lads go at it, at worst get to the second ball
 
Who actually attacks them? Distin and Stones certainly don't seem to, Lukaku is average in the air, then who else is their capable.

I was livid about our corners tonight. Professional footballers getting paid shed loads, and you see some players who cant get it over the first man and others who clear all 8 of them waiting in the box. Then there's Lukaku especially tonight just watching the ball to see where it lands. STICK YOUR HEAD THROUGH IT!

Bring in Hinchcliffe to teach them how to take one. I know bobby likes the ball on the floor but set pieces and heading is a big part of the game, especially in England. Look at Skrtel across the park.

This is the only huge blot on his 1st season copy book. We need to mix it up occassionally. Hopefully Dunc can have a word.
