Yes, I realize we haven't even gotten through the World Cup yet, but there is more exciting international footie on the horizon.

For the 100th anniversary of the Copa America, a joint CONMEBOL-CONCACAF tournament held in the US of A.

Sixteen nations total, all 10 from CONMEBOL and 6 invitees from CONCACAF. The United States are in as hosts. Mexico is in because, well, Mexico? Then it'll be the winners of the Caribbean Cup and Copa Centroamerica and the two best finishing nations that haven't already qualified in the 2015 Gold Cup.

Euro 2016? NEA, mate. Here's the new ace-est international football tourney outside of the big one.

I'm gutted, as I was planning to tick off South American countries over the next few Cooa Americas.

Is it still scheduled for Chile next year? That's firmly in my sights for next summer's football jolly.
