I don't think we have a thread for this yet so putting this out there for ideas about food, nutrition etc. I know fuk all about any of it really so will post questions in here every now and then.

First one: do you have to cook turmeric first before eating it, or can you just sprinkle it into any cooked food?

If it's the powder/ground you can eat it 'raw'. I pretty much always incorporate it into something though
 

Won't do you any harm (I've used it raw to attempt to control an abscess) so try it and see if you like it.

Uncooked that is, not an abscess. Don't think it's possible to enjoy an abscess.
 

Buy a slow cooker, use ours every week and have done for years. Brown pretty much any meat you have, throw in with carrots, onion, celery (any veg, root best - leeks great) and stock, season and you’ll find a great meal 5 hrs or so later. Low cost - high taste and goodness!!!
