Contractually you have a moot point but Moyes openly criticised Lescotts performances saying his mind was elsewhere, I am suggesting that his mind was elsewhere throughout the second half of the season.......................why, he knew he was going. If the guy had come out and said 'well boys I knew about this ages ago' I'd still have some respect for him but no, he continues the charade to this day

The difference being that Lescott played like a drain in the Arsenal hammering & acted like a petulant tit in training.

If Moyes mind was elsewhere, he did a good job of hiding it & the results don't reflect it either.

Compare our performances before and after Christmas, what about the inept managerial display at Goodison against Wigan when not for the first time he didn't have a clue, what about his denials that the team was not effected by his refusal to sign a new contract ( I bet he was under instruction from Utd not to sign), you could have fooled me............

Up to the end of December 2012 we played 20 league games & averaged 1.65 points per game.

From the start of Jan 2013 we played 18 league games & averaged 1.66 points per game.

To put the 5 minutes of madness at home to Wigan down to Moyes joining United is idiotic in my book.

The facts show that you are wrong mate, sorry.

Lets see your source for those details and where do you get 5 minutes of madness from against Wigan we were not in that game from the kick off......................to the final whistle. I would also point out that no one knows exactly when the approach was made, it could have been in November or mentioned to him when we beat them at the start of the season, I only wish we were being told the full story but we are not

To be fair he was making tactical howlers like this long before Utd were on the scene

It's called last seasons results table mate, go & work it out for yourself if you doubt the stats.

The 5 mins of madness that saw us concede 3 goals, after a conceding from a set piece, we then gifted them a 2nd via Neville & then were still in shock & all over the place when they took us apart for the 3rd. It had ****e all to do with Moyes & United.

Moyes has told his version of events, you're choosing to disbelieve him, either way it doesn't matter a toss, as our performances didn't suffer as you're suggesting they did.

There's no way of knowing how many points we could have picked up if he didn't know he was going to Manure either.
What he did though, was open himself up to allegations because he had potential conflict of interests.

You don't know that he did, it's merely an assumption.

All I've done is disproved the comment that our results supposedly suffered, as they patently didn't.

I'm assuming nothing here mate, because we're not aware of the facts. I'm only saying that if Moyes was still trying to get a job whilst playing Wigan, or whenever, he MAY have put more effort in and we may have done better than we did, signed different players, given certain players contracts, etc. All this is conjecture, but equally valid, because Moyes and maybe BK opened us up to potential conflict of interest. We'll never know the phenomenological data (hence have a sound argument), but it shouldn't have happened imo :)

Moyes has clearly shown his true colours in the press this morning. He has harassed our club for weeks trying to prize away two of the best players we have, on the cheap while at the same time bemoaning Chelsea's pursuit of Wayne Rooney. He has had the audacity to suggest that this club is standing in the way of players careers by refusing his derisory offer, I would question how their careers could be developed at Utd under the same coaches he stole from Goodison. His attitude to us disgusts me and underlines why we should not believe a word coming out of his mouth. He has been well aware of what was going on and I would suggest that it became common knowledge when Rooney found out and asked to leave Utd, they basically hate each other. As for our performances in the second half of the season and in the Wigan game I say you are wrong
and that Moyes has proven himself to be an utter disgrace. My one regret was supporting him for so long

I look forward when he is managing in the lower divisions again, the day he falls will beat even Benitez's departure from the RS. Gary Player once said that you should be nice to people when you are on the up and they'll be nice to you when you come back down as they all do, roll on Utd's visit this season
