Zatara

Player Valuation: £100m
We need to have a settled core of players who will be used to playing together in set positions. This is especially important for the defensive side of the team and for our players to develop an understanding of playing together;

GK -Robles
LB - Baines
LCB - Jagielka
RCB - Stones
RB - Coleman
CM - Besic
CM - McCarthy
LW
AM - Barkley / Naismith
RW
ST - Lukaku

It's clear that Besic and McCarthy together need to develop an understanding and are our best chance of having a solid barrier in front of the defence. Also they are the only two centre midfielders with the ability to slot back to cover for Baines and Coleman.

Barkley and Naismith cant play in the same team effectively, it needs to be one or the other starting games. For all those saying how great Naismith is he isn't going to be a consistent match winner and if you notice how many times he runs into Barkleys area and also is out of position when playing wide it means Lukaku ends up drifting outside which nullifies two players when he is playing at various stages of the game. That's not to say Barkley should be a starter either...

The wingers are anyone's guess. Mirallas looks to be heading the same way as Distin/Eto'o, McGeady isn't good enough, Pienaar seems finished, Atsu and Lennon probably need game time...who knows?

Whatever people say about Lukaku his record is consistent and he wins games, the defence is solid enough and the keeper is the best we have. We play the players above and we will pick up points.

In the summer it's a different story but we need to get some consistency with the team selections and some stability in the team...

When you take Mirallas out there's no one on the wings to provide for Lukaku + the opposition aren't going to be threatened.
Until we address the flanks we need to keep it tight and hope Lukaku delivers.

We've good core. This summer is all about shaping this mess a bit. Knobs and oldies will be shown the way out.

He's gone in the summer. Im sure bobby has been thinking his summer business already

Big shakedown coming up...and i cant wait

We have excellent core and we will be successful inside of two years

Mirallas has to play for me. I think the penalty/contract issue are clouding people's judgement of him. He's been shockingly managed this season - have we even had 90 minutes from him?

The funny thing is that Naismith had a cracking run of form which helped get his haters on his side, naismith behind Lukaku would be my preferred choice, Mirallas has to take one of the wide spots, maybe left wing so lennon can play right side.

The only players I see leaving are Distin and Mirallas. Other than that I don't know. Leon Osman will still have a role to play as will Gareth Barry. (Not my views by the way, the mangers)

I think the plan is to make 2 additions per summer such as Lukaku and Besic. That's why hes extended the older players contracts so he can hold onto them as long as possible to give him 2 years to bring in 4 top players to add to our core.

If Mirallas or someone else goes for decent money then I think we will see 3 players etc

You think we wont lose any of the 'core'?!

I would put my house on it we lose at least one, probably Coleman.

That's the last thing you could say about Lukaku!! What is it now, 1 goal in 10 PL games?
