I don't think anybody is arguing that UEFA isn't the stiffest competition (in total), nor that they have the hardest time with only 13 slots, but please give it a rest. Nobody in CONCACAF had a -53 gd in their group. Nobody was -23, nor -25, nor -30, neither -19 nor -21 as well. I enjoy your ignorance as well as everyone else, but there is a limit.
US Virgin Islands had GD -38 in second round ....against other minnows. All the last place teams in each group had high (negative) GD in the second round. There was even a -19 in the 3rd round.
Imagine dropping the top 6 teams into round 2 instead of giving them the buy to round 3.
CONCACAF would have just as many or more outrageous negative GDs if qualifying was set up like UEFA.
