My 3 best mates.....

One was a PC guy, him and his dad went through just about every processor.....286, 386 SX, 386 DX, 386 DX2, 486 SX/SX2/DX/DX2 etc etc.

One was an Amiga guy, proclaimed superiority based on the fact he had an Amiga

One was an Atari ST guy, proclaimed superiority based on the fact he had an ST.

The Amiga and ST were basically the same hardware, the Motorola 68000 series processor (also in use in the Mega Drive/Genesis, Space Shuttle (critical systems), Neo Geo and on the Saturn for audio processing)

---

If I include consoles as well, I need to add a Gameboy, Mega Drive, 32X, Playstation, Playstation 2, Xbox, Xbox 360, DS, DS Lite, PSP.

The arguments these two would have as to which system was better.......

Which one ran Premier Manager 3 or Populous better.....

 Awesome!!! Be the dad and confiscate it for punishment or something.........

I fondly remember the great amiga / Atari St debate.

I was on the side of the Atari but I realised half way through that the amiga was the slightly superior machine (madden was much better on it for example) and was left in the crap position of having to defend it knowing it was a bunch of ****.

I think I cracked in the end and got an Amiga and hid it when my mate came round.
