I wrote this piece comparing our Roberto to DC United's manager Ben Olsen.

You probably won't get any real football-related insights out of it, it's mainly a discussion of their approaches to the game and the attitudes that drive their tenures at their respective clubs.

Give it a read if you've got nothing better to do on this rainy friday afternoon, and I would love any feedback!

Shocked the link didn't have any humping animals. Are you from DC?

I too enjoyed that, particularly this paragraph...

"As the Goodison faithful sang “Money can’t buy you Stones”, Everton translated their defiant attitude into an emphatic win. I doubt Everton will reach that level again all season, but if only for a game they invoked a spirit more mighty than the rhinestone glitz of the modern game."

Hopefully, we will reach that level again on ?Sunday and many more times this season. Our squad is talented and I sense a hunger in them that we've not seen from a team in the Royal Blue for a few years.

Form is with us, we're at home on Sunday, the footballing Gods will surely be with us... COYB.

Yes I am, actually live a little less than a mile from RFK stadium these days. Got to watch Lampard, Pirlo, and Villa lose to a DC team that just wanted it more last night, this is shaping up to be a brilliant football weekend.

Good read that mate

Cheers mate, thanks for reading!

Cheers! And I would love it if we brought the level of intensity we showed against Chelsea to the derby this weekend. I'm always a wreck before the derby and I'll never approach it with confidence no matter how good our form is, but I'm quietly hopeful. COYB!!
