Did you hear it on an actual 'radio' or were you listening to a radio station on your smart phone? You see where I'm going with this don't you?
Radio in the car, and you are going to Tesco for a loaf of bread.

Hello,
I've got proof. I was speaking to a 17 year old girl once on msn messenger.
In my day that didn't happen!
So close and yet so far. It's Lidl. And it's milk I'm after.Radio in the car, and you are going to Tesco for a loaf of bread.
Wait a minute. Radios in cars? What will they think of next?Radio in the car, and you are going to Tesco for a loaf of bread.

1. YEWTREE!!! Wait... no...
2. "In my day"? You're 27 lid, behave.
Hello,
I want to talk about communication, or the lack of it as now it seems. The whole world has been brainwashed by laptops, iPads, smart phones, you name it, they all have one. I see two year olds with iPads! Can you believe that? No, me neither! I see children on computers and laptops, which is great for development and I fully agree with the use of them as I've used a computer since I was nine years old. But, they never used them for the same reason I did. I didn't have Internet in 1994, I had a word processor on a black screen with green text. That's it! I didn't have games! So, what did I do on that word processor? I wrote football reports, I would make up my own football match and write a 90 minute analysis of it. I was in my element and if I carried on that path in life, who knows where I could've been!
In today's world, it's not word processers these children are using. It is Facebook, twitter, MySpace, bebo, face party, sound cloud, forums, websites, blogs. If they're not on those things it's BBM, what's app, texting, snap chat, Kik. When they leave school they probably say "I'll see you on snap chat" or whatever it is. Sorry, they don't say it, they text it. People are losing the knack of actual conversation. Kids don't talk these days because they don't know how to. They don't know how to express themselves in speech but they can on the Internet. I've got proof. I was speaking to a 17 year old girl once on msn messenger, she came across as bubbly and lovely but when I met her face to face she hardly said two words! Proves she lacks the art of communication. How many people do you know who swear a lot in conversation? Is that due to lack of vocabulary? Kids talk in text talk these days as well. They don't use proper words, they don't know proper words!
How many times do you see young people with their phone in their hands in public? Always. In my day that didn't happen! Kids didn't have phones! They didn't need them! If you wanted something or someone you spoke to them and expressed your feelings.
It is getting worse. Technology is great and I'm all for it but communication from the tongue is lacking.
Who speaks? Nobody.
They don't know how to!
By the way, I'm not saying everyone is like this but most of the younger generation are.
How about a microwave car. You get there much quicker.I'm hoping a microwave in the car next, how ace would that be.
That is yewtree actually. Grooming over the internet is when anyone over the age of 18 talks with anyone under the age of 18 ...
Thanks for clearing that up for me!
MickM86, Yewtree. That is all.
Internet forums and chatrooms can have positive effects that should be more widely acknowledged, experts say.The call comes after Oxford University researchers carried out an analysis of 14 different studies looking at how young people use the internet. The review - published in the Plos One journal - said a number of studies had found a link between internet use and self-harm and suicide. But it said others had found the internet could be a positive influence.
