Glad that rubbish is over, watched maybe 6 minutes of it at most.

The whole thing is just a chance for white people to win athletics events while the Americans aren’t there, and the communist countries to give someone else a go at the boxing and wrasslin.

New Zealand 5th on the medal table with 46, not bad for us. Did better than the Safa's and the home nations bar England.

Felt sorry for the Scottish lad in the marathon who collapsed with heatstroke..... And what the hell is with the spectators who's first instinct is to get their phones out to take photos / film him lying prone on the ground, before trying to help him?

I get that helping him meant an automatic DQ for the marathon, but he was obviously in no state to continue, so at the very, very least they could have sheltered him from the sun before the medics arrived.

Quite pathetic the medics took a couple of minutes to get to him really. Not what you would expect.
